About
Why this exists.
I built PRISM because I run my own operating life by Human Design and have watched founders, operators, and teams I work with rebuild the same blueprint from scratch — paying a practitioner thousands of dollars, waiting six weeks for a static PDF that’s immediately stale, and getting a deliverable that doesn’t update when the team changes.
The framework works. The delivery format is broken.
PRISM turns that artifact into software: dynamic, multi-tenant, integrated with the tools teams and households already use, and updated continuously as members join and leave. The same engine that reads a founding team reads a household. The same chart that helps a CEO understand a co-founder helps a parent understand a child. Different framings; identical mechanics.
Built by
Roger Holden.
PRISM is created and maintained by Roger Holden as an independent product. The engine, the brand, the technology stack, and the writing voice are all built by a small team committed to keeping Human Design accessible without dilution.
We are deliberately not a venture-backed company chasing scale at the expense of integrity. PRISM is built to last — for teams that plan to last and for families that plan to last together.
What we believe
A few non-negotiables.
Privacy by design.
Birth data is sensitive personal data. Field-level encryption, granular consent, deletion APIs, audit trails. We never train on your data and we never sell it. The day we’re tempted to is the day we don’t deserve to operate.
Honest about the framework.
Human Design is an interpretive framework drawing on astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, and the chakra system. We do not claim it as scientifically verified. We treat it the way its creator did: as an experiment. Live by it for a season; measure the change yourself.
Decision-support, never determinative.
No PRISM output should be the sole basis for hiring, firing, promotion, or compensation. No PRISM output should be confused with medical, therapeutic, or psychological diagnosis. Outputs are starting points for human judgment, not substitutes for it.
Practitioner-quality, software-priced.
The recommendations a manager or parent reads should be at least as useful as a $2,000 Human Design business consultation. The engine is the moat. The job is to make depth democratically accessible without degrading what depth means.
A note on the name
PRISM.
A prism does one thing perfectly: it reveals that what looked like a single beam was always a spectrum of distinct frequencies traveling together. That sentence is the entire product. A team or family looks like one thing on the surface; PRISM shows the actual spectrum so you can stop pretending.
